Desert Senita Community Health Center announces the appointment of Dr. Daniel Barbara as our new Chief Executive Officer, effective July 10, 2023.

Dr. Barbara holds a Doctor of Health Science from Nova Southeastern University with emphasis in Evidence-based and Collaborative Practice, Health Services Management, and Research.

Dr. Barbara was born and raised in rural Arizona and has served several rural communities as well as Native American Tribes in various capacities as a leader in the health and social services sectors, successfully developing and operating diverse healthcare facilities and programs.

Desert Senita warmly welcomes Dr. Daniel Barbara to the Ajo and Arizona City communities. We look forward to great things under Dr. Barbara’s leadership as we continue to strive to provide quality, local, and affordable healthcare for all.
