Sonia Villanueva, FNP-C
Family Nurse Practitioner
Sonia Villanueva is my name, and I am a Family Nurse Practitioner with experience in rheumatology, hospice, behavioral health, and correctional health.
After completing my degree at Central Arizona College and my Masters of Science in Nursing at Frontier Nursing University in Hyden, Kentucky, in 2015, I am a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, the National Association of School Nurses, and the American College of Rheumatology.
In addition, I have served as an ambassador for my university at the yearly American Association of Nurse Practitioner Conference and have won an essay contest with the theme: “Your Patient’s Health Starts with You,” and I have presented at the National Association for the Education of Young Children and the “Read to Me” Conference.
I am passionate about providing care to those in need and have a knack for creating treatment plans as a team with patients.
When I am not workings, I love thrift shopping, reading historical novels, and hockey games or comedy shows.
The number one reason for dedicating my professional life to caring for patients is instilling the hope and trust that we will work together on a plan for a healthier tomorrow.
Once you see that change is possible, you will pass those precious gifts down to your family!
