Rekha Cheriyan, MSN, APRN, FNP-C

Family Nurse Practitioner

My name is Rekha Cheriyan, and I am a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. A family nurse practitioner delivers healthcare to patients of all ages, gender, and diseases. Much like a family physician, a family nurse practitioner is a primary care medical provider with extensive training.

I personally have 24 years RN experience in Labor and delivery, ICU, Medical-Surgical, Oncology, Pediatric Emergency, pediatric trauma nursing, and adult ER. I completed my Clinical rotation in Primary care, internal medicine, Emergency Department, and primary care for Mental health.

I graduated from Grand Canyon University Arizona in 2023 receiving my MSN FNP and completed Over 700 hours of training in the Primary care, Internal medicine, ER, and Urgent Care in 2022. I received my diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery from Little Flower Hospital and Research Center School of Nursing in 1999.

In my spare time, I enjoy cooking as well as watching movies.

I joined Desert Senita Community Health Center this year because I am faithful and think that the God gave me opportunities to develop myself to provide care for those who are in need and help their life beautiful and help them live happily.
