Hello! My name is Dr. Beatty-Kwan. I am a highly trained Medical Doctor, specializing in Family Medicine Practice. I am passionate about integrative care in people of all ages and approaches each person on an individual level in order to scale information to facilitate patient-lead management and decision making.  

I also believe that the patient’s is the most important voice in determining interventions, and her background supports viewing the patient as a whole, from head-to-toe, and diversifying how we approach disease. I like to focus on lifestyle management, minimizing pharmaceutical interventions when possible, and takes mental and emotional health as imperative determinants of quality of life and overall physical well-being. My specific areas of interest include women’s and adolescent health, menopause management, dermatology, and lifestyle medicine. 

I graduated from the prestigious Leader’s in Medicine Program at the University of Calgary, during which time I received many nationally recognized awards and scholarships and contributed a number of original scientific research publications from intensive thesis-based work.  

While my passion has always been dedication to medicine, it is my family that is my joy. I spend every free moment exploring new adventures with my beautiful children and wonderful husband.
