(Dr.) Fatima Lah, DNP, FNP-C
Family Nurse Practitioner
My name is Dr. Fatima Lah and I am a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. Much like a family physician, a family nurse practitioner is a primary care medical provider, with training in the diagnosis and primary care treatment of a plethora of health conditions and injuries.
At Desert Senita Community Health Center, DSCHC, I work closely with our patients and other providers to ensure that our patients receive the absolute best care possible. Just like the many other health care providers and clinicians at DSCHC, my training is extensive; I have 19 years of experience in healthcare.
I completed my Bachelor of Science in Nursing and my Doctor of Nursing Practice at Chamberlain University in Illinois. I love what I do, having experience in multiple settings such as family medicine, pediatrics and psychiatry.
In my professional experience I have found great interest in the treatment of chronic diseases such as Hepatitis C, wound care, and co-occurring conditions. When I have the time, I am an avid reader and enjoy the study of history and culture. I also enjoy traveling, volunteering, and cooking.
I joined Desert Senita Community Health Center, because I found it to be an ideal opportunity to serve my community and to utilize my God-given abilities and the skills as a Doctor of Nursing.
