FAQ:

How can a clinical pharmacist help me in my care?

Clinical pharmacists work directly with you to provide evidence-based, up to date information on the appropriate, safe and cost-effective use of your medications. We work closely with other healthcare providers to make sure that your care is not fragmented, and all your health-care providers are on the same page as regards your care. We are also easily accessible via in-person visits or Telehealth, without having to wait a long time for an appointment.

When should I reach out to a clinical pharmacist?

Clinical Pharmacy Services should be used when you have questions about your medications, when you experience side effects of medications, when you need help simplifying your medication regimen, when you need assistance with managing chronic diseases and for behavioral health services (including Major Depressive Disorder, Anxiety Disorders, Substance Use Disorders). We are also here if you need assistance with choosing cost-effective medications, without compromising your care.

How should I schedule a visit?

Please, reach out to us at 520-387-5651 and request to schedule a visit with a clinical pharmacist to discuss your medication-related concerns. We will communicate your care to other health-care professionals on your team and be detailed in our assessment and care plan for you.

What should I bring along on my first visit?

It is helpful to have your medication bottles and/or medication list when you come in for your visit. Our clinical pharmacist will go over your medications with you, give accurate information about your medications, coordinate your immunizations and answer any question that you may have. If you use any of our in-house pharmacy, you can download our app (RX365) which has a list of all the medications filled at our pharmacy.
