My name is Steven Ong, and I am a Board-Certified Pharmacist. Just like the many other health care providers and clinicians at Desert Senita Community Health Center, my experience in my profession, pharmacy, is extensive and will only continue to grow. I have 8 years of experience in a pharmacy setting so far, with most of it coming from a retail background and some coming from hospital. I have started my pharmacy career as a pharmacy tech-trainee, to moving onto becoming a pharmacy intern, then becoming a graduate intern, to now becoming a registered pharmacist.

I have attended the University of Arizona, Tucson, pharmacy school for 4 years, while working as an intern all throughout at various institutions. Graduated in 2023 and accepted my very first pharmacist position with Desert Senita Community health Center.

In my spare time, I enjoy taking a break with my family and friends, preparing a mean steak, going to the gym, and winding down by spending time with my dog and taking long naps. My current goals in life is to make my family proud, live a happy life, and give my family the things and experiences that they have never had.

I have joined Desert Senita because of the hard-working people that I get to work with who are devoted to caring for their patients and are willing to go beyond what is expected. My mission here with Desert Senita Community Health Center is to help make the pharmacy an easy, comfortable, and enjoyable experience for our patients. I look forward to growing with Desert Senita and its communities that we serve.
