Petra Mojica, MSN, FNP-C
Family Nurse Practioner
My name is Petra Rosa Mojica, and I am a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. Much like a family physician, a family nurse practitioner is a primary care medical provider with extensive training in the diagnosis and primary care treatment of all of types of health conditions and injuries seen.
Just like the many other health care providers and clinicians at Desert Senita Community Health Center, my training is extensive. I personally have 21 years of experience in healthcare total, 18 years as a Registered Nurse, and 3 years as an FNP-C.
I received my master’s degree in 2021 at Chamberlain University, Family Nurse Practitioner Program.
In my spare time, I enjoy traveling with my husband, playing with my grandchildren, Bible reading & ministry, and giving my pug a bath (she loves it).
I joined Desert Senita Community Health Center this year because one of the greatest pleasures is assisting those in need, even if it is their last breath.
