Family Nurse Practitioner
Petra Rosa Mojica, FNP-C, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over 21 years of experience in healthcare. She holds a Master’s degree in Nursing and provides primary care to patients, with a special focus on dermatology and geriatric care.
Petra’s passion for medicine began at the age of five. While her parents worked, she was cared for by a neighbor with advanced diabetes. Petra helped administer insulin and measure doses by listening carefully to instructions, as her neighbor had limited vision. This early experience taught her the importance of compassion, precision, and trust in caregiving.
Before becoming a nurse practitioner, Petra spent several years in hospice care where she served as the lead nurse supporting patients and families during critical moments. She believes that everyone deserves dignity in healthcare, not just at the end of life, but at every stage of it.
Her approach to medicine is holistic and patient-centered. She believes in treating the whole person by understanding how each patient lives, learns, who supports them, and what matters most to them. Petra’s care focuses on practical, sustainable steps that help patients improve their health while avoiding unnecessary procedures, medications, or costs whenever possible.
Outside of the clinic, Petra enjoys spending time with her husband and dogs, camping, fishing, and exploring off-road trails.
