Behavioral Health (BH) services are provided at Desert Senita Community Health Center (DSCHC) by our BH clinician team utilizing the Integrated Service Delivery Model. This model works as a collaboration between Behavioral Health, Medical, Dental and other DSCHC professional staff members assisting individuals and families through education, a variety of treatments, and empowering patients towards their individual behavioral, medical and overall health care goals
BH services are provided in a comfortable environment by our professional staff conveniently located within the DSCHC site, at our client’s home when appropriate, as well as at Ajo Public Schools where students receive services in our excellent school based counseling program.
In addition to working closely with the school DSCHC BH staff also works closely with the Justice Systems, Crisis Response Center, Department of Child Safety, Adult Protective Services, Division of Developmental Disabilities and coordinate care with other agencies as needed.
The BH staff currently provides counseling services addressing behavioral health issues including but not limited to: depression, anxiety, stress, trauma, grief, chronic pain, parenting classes, family issues, substance abuse, domestic violence, court ordered treatment, DUI education, Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and life changes.
